The very first surf shop on the left as you enter the town of Famara is the Zoo Park surf shop. We have a great range of surf boards for you to hire at prices from as little as nine euros per day or fifty euros for the whole week.

We have a good selection of boards in different shapes and sizes. As the week goes on please feel free to come in a try other boards to find out which suits you best.

Also in the surf shop is a good range of clothing for sale plus all the surf accessories you could need.

Remember that if your surfing is a little rusty then we provide a great surf lesson service to get you back up to scratch or to teach you the basics. The sand bottomed gently rolling waves of Famara beach are ideal for the beginner to intermediate level surfer. As your standard of surfing progresses you will see that there are ample other surf spots on Lanzarote to challenge the very best surfers. Just a little way along the coast from Famara beach is the reef break of San Jaun. This reef bottomed left hand wave works from just a few feet in height to very big. A world class surf event is held at this spot every year.
